Hello again,

fuer proxies empfehle ich die installation von squid(s) an mehreren
orten im netz, und zwar koordiniert, d.h. jeder squid kennt seine
'siblings' und die metric, die es jeweils dahin kostet.

der vorteil daran ist das man immer den vom aktuellen standort aus
naechsten proxy fragen kann, und entweder von diesem das gecachte
dokument bekommt, oder dieser einem das gecachte dokument von einem
anderen proxy im wlan (schnell) besorgt, anstatt es ueber eine
potentiell langsame internet-anbindung von draussen zu ziehen ...
