Was auch immer "firmware-burn" ist, das eigentlich Tool heisst "mtd". Im
Zweifel einfach mal mtd eingeben und die Hinweise lesen.

Ich gehe so vor (bitte Doku selbst studieren und eigene Gefahr):
mtd -r -e linux write <image> linux
