Falter-Firmware (Version 1.4.1) bekannt zu geben.<br>

<font size="4"><b>Bekannte Probleme</b></font><br>
<b>DSA</b><br>
<br>
In OpenWrt hat sich geändert wie viele Router die physischen
Anschlüsse auf der Rückseite ansteuern.<br>
Infolgedessen ist die Konfiguration nicht mit der neuen Version
kompatibel.<br>
Das bedeutet, dass der Router nur aktualisiert werden kann indem
er komplett neu konfiguriert wird.<br>
Der Autoupdater führt in dieser Version kein Upgrade für Router
durch, bei denen auf DSA umgestellt wurde.<br>
Wenn die Firmware über die Weboberfläche aktualisiert wird, werden
die änderungen genau erklärt.<br>

<b>Nicht jeder Router ist hier von betroffen. Es hängt vom model
und der Verwendeten OpenWRT Version ab</b><br>

Wenn der Router nach DSA migriert wird, wird folgende Nachricht im
Webinterface gezeigt.<br>

Um router die auf DSA migrieren zu aktualisieren, folge diese
schritte:<br>
<br>
</p>
<ul>
<li> Stelle sicher dass du die IP Adressen die zum einrichten
verwendet wurden gespeichert hast. Du kannst diese dir auf
folgender Seite zusenden lassen:

<li> Lade dir das aktuelle image vom Firmware Selector herunter:
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://selector.berlin.freifunk.net/">https://selector.berlin.freifunk.net/</a> Pass auf dass du das
richtige Model aussuchst um nicht deinen router zu bricken.</li>
<li> Speicher die aktuelle Router konfiguration. Dies ist
hilfreich sollte es zu problemen bei dem update kommen. Gehe
hierzu im Webinterface auf "System->Backup / Flash Firmware".
Hier kannst du unter "Download backup" => "Generate archive"
Das backup herunterladen. Auf der kommandozeile ist dass
kommando: sysupgrade -b /tmp/backup.tar.gz. Speichere die
/tmp/backup.tar.gz Auf deinem Computer</li>
<li> Flashe das neue Image. Im Webinterface geht dies auf der
Selben seite auf der du das Backup erstellt hast. Der Button
hierfür ist "Flash image...". Als nächstes wähle das neue Image
aus. Sollte keine warnung kommen ist dein router nicht von der
DSA Migration betroffen und du kannst einfach weitermachen.
Sollte der Router betroffen sein siehst du die warnung. Entferne
den haken bei "Keep settings and retain the current
configuration". Und füge den haken bei "Force upgrade" hinzu.
Auf der kommandozeile musst du dass image unter /tmp speichern
und dann mittels sysupgrade --force -n /tmp/image.bin flashen.<br>

verbindest.</li>

<b>DSA</b><br>
<br>
In upstream OpenWrt, many routers have changed their core
architecture controlling physical ports on the back of the router.
As a result, the configuration of the old system is not compatible
with the new system. This means that unless the router is
reconfigured from the beginning again, it will not work and be
bricked. The autoupdater will not upgrade any router which has
changed to DSA in this release. Upgrading the firmware from the
web interface will also give you a clear message about the

<b>Not all routers are affected in this release. Many more will be
affected with the upcoming releases, just like with OpenWrt.</b><br>
<br>
If you have a router which has switched to DSA, you will see this
when performing an upgrade in the web interface.<br>

To upgrade a router which has moved to the DSA architecture,
follow these steps.<br>
<br>
</p>
<ul>
<li> Make sure you have your original IP addresses which you
originally used to set up your router. It is possible to have
them resent to your email address by filling out the form at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://config.berlin.freifunk.net/summary">https://config.berlin.freifunk.net/summary</a></li>
<li> Download the current image from the firmware selector at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://selector.berlin.freifunk.net/">https://selector.berlin.freifunk.net/</a> making sure you select the
correct model and version. Choosing the wrong image can brick
your router.</li>
<li> Save the router's configuration. In case you have any
problems, having a backup of your old configuration is helpful
if you need help from the community after flashing the image. To
do this in the web interface, go to "System->Backup / Flash
Firmware". There you should "Download backup" by clicking on the
button "Generate archive". On the command line, it's<br>
sysupgrade -b /tmp/backup.tar.gz<br>
Save /tmp/backup.tar.gz to your computer.</li>
<li> Flash the new image. In the web interface, flashing an image
is on the same page as where you saved your backup file. The
button is "Flash image...". Next, upload the firmware image. If
you do not see the warning, your router is not affected and you
can continue flashing. If you router is affected, you will see
the warning above. Uncheck the box "Keep settings and retain the
current configuration". Then check the box "Force upgrade". On
the command line, you need to transfer the firmware image to the
/tmp folder on your router and do<br>
sysupgrade --force -n /tmp/image.bin<br>

/>After the router reboots, you will have to run the setup
wizard again. There will be a setup wireless network you can
connect with, or you can connect a cable to the router directly.
