sehe ich aehnlich. allerdings sind die moeglichkeiten dezentral zu
arbeiten derzeit noch etwas begrenzt.

meine empfehlung: fuer webseiten rsync, fuer datenbanken (z.b. mysql) da
auch sync.

vorteil  : man hat die daten auf mehreren servern
nachteil : man muss es auf einem server (der, von dem alle spiegeln)
           pflegen. alles andere braeuchte ein protokoll/eine konvention
           wies laufen soll.

ueber location-based oder round-robin DNS kann man dann den jeweils
sinnvollsten oder immer andere server nehmen.

P.S: bei bedarf stelle ich sowohl know-how als auch serverkapazitaet in
Berlin, Amsterdam, Nuernberg, und Tampa (Flordia)
