Nach meinem Verständnis:

Es kam der backfire 10.03-freeze gerade hinsichtlich des ath9k Treibers
wohl noch zu früh. Da ist im IMHO trunk vieles noch verbessert worden,
bzw. wird bearbeitet.

Es ist derzeit backfire 10.03.1-RC1 aktuell!

Der Zug geht IMHO nicht in Richtung madwifi. Und die Hinweise in den
Foren etc. sind prinzipiell hinsichtlich des ath9k zuversichtlich.

Die ar71xx ubiquiti hardware spielt doch im FF durchaus schon mit ath9k.
