Hello Sven !

nice to hear from you again.

the law in Italian changed for the better. It is now legal if you have
a restaurant of bar to provide free and unauthenticated Internet
access. Of course if you are a TLC operator you have to do proper
authentication and logging, but if you just want to share the WiFi in
a cafe there is no problem.

The law that was forbidding this as a special law for terrorism, was
not renewed in December 2010. So it is legal to share WiFi from 1st
January 2011.

We also noticed this news that you are talking about, and we wrote
something on the Ninux blog
